The Cotton Mill Wedding: Hillsborough, North Carolina

I met Kyla at a Bridal Show in Downtown Raleigh. Her mother was with her at the time inquiring with several wedding vendors. Out of so many great photographers, I was so thrilled to find out that they chose me. Not only I got the privilege to photograph her wedding, but I also had the honor of meeting her whole family that flew in from many different states. It was a grand reunion! My favorite thing about this wedding is Kyla’s a fellow Filipino, Adam chose wisely, he’s in for a treat. Filipinos are very hospitable with strong family ties and we know how to enjoy each other’s company with great food! The best part of this job, connecting with clients on a personal level, they treated me as part of their family.

Adam and Kyla’s wedding was beautiful, the ceremony was held at Duke Chapel and had their reception at The Cloth Mill in Hillsborough. They did a great job with their selection of flower arrangements. Kayla looked so stunning and her dress… gorgeous. Several of her family members were wearing our traditional Filipino clothing, the men were wearing the ‘Barong’ shirt which is a lightweight fabric with embroideries, and the ladies were wearing what we call ‘Filipiniana Dress’ with oversized butterfly sleeves. It was such a treat being there. The couple was in bliss enjoying every minute of it. It was great seeing them having an amazing time with their friends and family. Kyla and Adam, thank you so much for letting us be a part of your big day!
